How long a journey is it from the airport to London City?

Depending on the time of the day and traffic conditions, it is an approximate 35-60 minutes’ drive from Heathrow while it takes approximately 55-75 minutes from Gatwick to reach London City.

What are the methods of payment that are acceptable?

We accept payments in pounds sterling, pounds sterling travelers cheques, US dollars as well as all major credit cards (a nominal charge may be applicable in case of plastic money).

Can we also use Mini Van Plus’ vehicles forlocal travel apart from airport trips?

How do we locate our driver once the flight has arrived?

Your designated driver will meet you at the exit from airport terminal holding a sign with your name written upon it. In case the airport terminal is very crowded and you are unable to locate your driver, please contact us immediately on +44 (0) 796 190 3275 so we can contact the driver and arrange an alternate easy to find meeting point for you within the terminal.

What is the course of action if our flight gets delayed?

We operate round the clock and keep a close watch on all incoming flights. Hence irrespective of how delayed or how early your flight is, there will be a driver waiting for you at no additional cost.

Are the drivers at Mini Van Plus accessible while they are in the airport terminal or driving?

Yes, all Mini Van Plus drivers carry a cell phone at all times.

Will the driver wait while we clear customs?

Yes, the driver will normally wait for over an hour before enquiring at the information desk and check your name with our base office regarding the status. If there is no information about your whereabouts even after another half an hour lapses, he may leave. It is hence advisable to keep us informed in case you are facing delays longer than an hour at the customs clearance desk so as to avoid any delays.

Can we expect help with planning an itinerary from your office?

Yes; all personnel at Mini Van Plus staff are experienced, well trained, courteous and knowledgeable – they will be glad to assist you with sightseeing tours of London and adjoining areas.

Our fleet consists of relatively new models of hybrid sedans, small, large and extra-large minivans, Mercedes and BMW. Most of the vehicles have an inbuilt satellite navigation system that enables our drivers to choose the best and fastest routes to reach your destination.

All our drivers are experienced, courteous and above all, excellent at their job – we are very strict with hiring only those with an accident free driving track record.
